North Korea Tours - Places of Interest

North Korea Tours are not precisely the most common tours and the DPRK is certainly not a common country. The lack of adverts in the streets, the portraits of the "Great Leaders" all around the country, the almost omnipresent political banners and slogans, the sheer lack of pollution and an everlasting list of other aspects that shape this country into a category we can only label as unique, make North Korea an extremely interesting place to visit.
Below is a list of sites tourists are taken to when travelling on one of our North Korea tours.
Please bear in mind that itineraries may alter slightly. This is why we strongly recommend you point out if there are any places you would definitely not like to miss.

Land of the Morning Calm

Woraksan
I between 1988 and 2001, I lived in Korea for 8 of those 13 years. During that time I came to know, respect and love the Korean people. I empathize with them over their divided country and with their proud heritage. I learned the language and attended university there and am an avid buff of recent Korean history.

South Korea Tourist Attractions

Some of the popular tourist destinations in South Korea are as follows:
Andong:
This is a town famous for its aristocrats and old culture. Tourists visit this town to see the Andong Folk Village and Folk Museum, which exhibits relics of ancient Korean culture. Restaurants in this town serve traditional Korean food, so you can try eating what the locals do. Just north of Andong is Dosan Seowon, which is a famous Confucian institute. West of the town is the Hahoe Maeul Folk Village, which is worth a visit. If you are in Andong during autumn, make sure you take the time out to see the Mask Dance Festival. It should not be missed under any circumstances.

Uncommon LA Tour

Macarthur Park
LA Commons is trekking uncommon neighborhoods in the city and this week you can check out Macarthur Park and Koreatown.  The Francis Avenue Garden will be featured on the tour along with classical guitarist Felix Tello Sunday, August 15.  I’m more familiar with K-town from many food and noriban (Korean Karaoke) excursions but have always been a little too intimidated to explore  Macarthur Park on my own.  I might have to take this three hour tour.
